Sell your catalytic converter in Ammanford and South Wales. We offer a fast, legal and competitive service you can rely on.
We buy and recycle used catalytic converters from trade and private customers, paying top prices based on current market values. Catalytic converters hold precious metals including platinum, palladium and rhodium, and every unit is handled at our fully licensed Ammanford facility.
Garages, motor traders, mechanics and private individuals all use us. Bring us one converter or a full pallet of them, and our team will weigh in, assess and pay out without any fuss.
We purchase a wide range of scrap catalytic converters, including:
No two units are worth the same, which is why each one is assessed individually. If you have regular volumes coming through your workshop, speak to us about a trade account and we will sort a routine that suits your schedule.
Catalytic converter recycling involves safely processing vehicle exhaust components. This allows us to recover the precious metals which are used to reduce harmful emissions. These metals are rare and highly valuable, which is why recycling catalytic converters is both environmentally responsible and financially worthwhile.
Rather than sending converters to landfill, we ensure all materials are processed through approved recycling channels, supporting sustainability while paying fair prices to our customers.
If a vehicle has reached the end of its life, taking the converter off separately is not always the best move.
Converters can be recycled on their own, but scrapping the car as a complete vehicle is often quicker, safer and fully compliant with UK regulations. As an Authorised Treatment Facility, we recover the catalytic converter as part of the depollution process, so all the valuable metals are handled correctly without you dismantling anything yourself.
We can even arrange car collection anywhere in South Wales, and you can get an instant online quote by entering your registration. Remember, if you are unsure which route gives you the better return, give us a ring and we will talk it through honestly.
Converter theft has made the trade a closely watched one, and we take our responsibilities seriously. We operate in full accordance with UK scrap metal regulations as a licensed scrap metal dealer and registered waste carrier.
You will need to bring:
UK law prohibits scrap metal dealers from paying cash, so we pay by bank transfer. Every transaction is recorded, which protects you and us, and means each converter is traceable through the proper recycling route.
